Man dies after being struck by combine

A man has died after he was struck by a combine on Sunday afternoon, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. First responders were dispatched to the scene near Baseline Avenue in Sand Creek Township at around 3:30 p.m., where they found the 42-year-old victim not breathing. CPR and other lifesaving efforts were attempted, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene and the incident is under investigation.
